While attending Louisiana Tech University,
Mr. Dupree worked part-lime with Denmon Engineering.
After receiving his BS in August 1996, he
started full-time as an Engineering Intern
with the company.
Mr. Dupree has considerable experience with
computer aided design packages. Some of these
include WSPRO, FEC-I, LaDOTD Hydraulics Programs,
Microstation, In-Express, AutoCAD, KY-Pipe,
MathCAD, and Finite Element Analysis Programs.
Since coming to Denmon Engineering, Mr. Dupree's
duties have included vertical and horizontal
roadway alignments, hydraulics of roadways,
bridge hydraulics, drainage design, earthwork,
and geometric design. Projects he has worked
on include:
Poverty Point Reservoir
Horizontal and vertical alignment, earthwork,
and supervision of construction for eastern
levee of 2,300 acre reservoir in Richland
Parish
Richland Parish Bridges
Hydraulic studies and replacement recommendations
for two (2) bridges in District 05.
Jackson Parish Bridges
Hydraulic studies and replacement recommendations
for ten (10) bridges in District 05.
US 165 (Olla to LA 843)
Final design of Urban and Rural sections
of US 165. Approximately 11.5 KM, expanding
existing two-lane highway to four lanes.
Route LA 15 (Greenville to Sicily Island)
Design of Urban and Rural section of LA 15
approximately 7.6km.
